Staff Accountant

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced accountant with strong client-facing skills to manage onboarding projects, clean up and set up accounting systems, and work with multiple clients across industries.ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate, accrual-basis financial statements.Perform detailed reconciliations for bank, credit card, merchant service, and loan accounts.Clean up and set up client accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Manage multiple onboarding projects at once, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.Communicate directly with clients to understand needs and deliver solutions.Use cloud-based accounting platforms and integrated tools to streamline processes (QuickBooks Online, Xero, A2X, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).Identify and communicate scope changes early to onboarding managers.Requirements1-3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a small or mid-sized CPA firm).Strong knowledge of GAAP-based accounting and financial reporting.Experience working with multiple clients from different industries.C1 English fluency or equivalentExperience in a client-facing role and client onboarding processesQuickBooks Online certification is a plus but not mandatoryE-commerce accounting experienceWho thrives hereProactive communicators - not afraid to raise issues early.Organized multi-taskers - able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.Detail-oriented problem-solvers - able to clean up complex accounts and tech stacks.Adaptable professionals - thrive in a dynamic, growing company environment.BenefitsSalary: $**** - $**** USD /monthPTO: 120 hours in the first year + 5 sick days; unlimited PTO after year onePublic HolidaysThis is a full-time contractor agreementFully remote work environment.#J-*****-Ljbffr
