Our team delivers managed services for media and security maintaining quality and protecting our customers' online presence.Respond to cyberattacks in real timeAs a Security Incident Responder, you'll engage in critical network and attack-related events for our customers.
As frontline defense, you will own our central alerting system, detecting and mitigating the impact of attacks.
In this environment, your exceptional support to customers impacts the future of them and Akamai.As a Security Incident Responder, you will be responsible for:Engaging in mitigation techniques to prevent vector attacksPerforming advanced packet analysis to identify attacks and threats to our networkManaging and documenting technical issues, responses and requests to ensure information is recorded and updatedProviding support to customers to remedy and resolve network and connectivity issuesCommunicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysisDo What You LoveTo be successful in this role you will:Demonstrate the ability to speak in English and Portuguese fluentlyDemonstrate knowledge of how the internet works, including, DNS.
HTTP, Suite of IP ProtocolsShow excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to update internal documentationHave passion and ability to learn new tools and technologies and problem solveDemonstrate excellent collaboration and team working skillsWork in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
