Backend Developer RoleWe are seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer to play a foundational part in building the core platform for power utilities.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of our operating system.Your responsibilities will include:Designing and implementing secure, scalable back-end applications using cloud-native best practicesCollaborating with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systemsTransforming legacy workflows into modern, secure codebases using best-in-class methodologiesEnsuring seamless integration of intelligent functionality into client products by working with AI tools and APIsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Excellent communication skills5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environmentsStrong proficiency in Python, Golang, or JavaDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teamsSolid understanding of databases, message queues, and distributed architecturesCloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)Clear communicator, adaptable, eager to learn and grow AI capabilities over time
