Job DescriptionRoleAs an Engineering Manager in this group, youll be fully responsible and accountable for managing your team(s), ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery with high operational standards.
Youll also actively partner with your Product counterparts and Staff Engineers to shape the direction of our area and the company as a whole.
The role reports directly to the Engineering Director.We are committed to continuous improvement, open feedback, and working efficiently towards our goals.
This role provides an opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the area while receiving mentorship and support as needed.Our tech stack at Docplanner Tech and Feegow includes .
Net, PHP, and Vue/ReactNative, running on Kubernetes in AWS.
While expertise in these technologies isnt required, this is a technical role, and a solid technical background is essential to effectively support the teams.What you will be doingLead and represent ~10 direct reports in total, organized in smaller multi-disciplinary teams.Actively partner with your Product and Staff Engineer counterparts.Provide accountability for all the initiatives of your teams.Work closely with the technical leaders of the group and the area to develop an effective technical strategy.Act as a point of reference for our Leadership team and for the main Stakeholders of your teams.Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching inside the team, through regular feedback and performance assessments.QualificationsYoure likely a great fit for this role if youHave a solid technical background related to the whole SDLC and can support and unblock your teams in complex technical discussions.Have experience in modernizing legacy systems to modern architectures as well as leading teams' ways of working.Comfortable communicating in written and verbal English across global teams.Approach software development with a lean, proactive, and positive mindset, balancing impact and long-term sustainable development, with a strong accountability for delivering high-quality solutions.Embrace the you build it, you run it philosophy.Believe in continuous learning and improvement.Are driven to lead and nurture high-performing and healthy teams.Have experience not only mentoring others but also developing future mentors and leaders.Previous experience in consulting is a plus.Important: Docplanner is an international English-first company.
