**We are searching for the best talent for LATAM Sr Analyst, Global Trade Controls to be in Sao Paulo, Bogota, or Mexico City.
**
**You will be responsible for**:
- As the Deliver Trade Controls Sr Analyst, you will be key contact towards the business for govern and conduct controls check of key import/export data such as product classification, country of origin & valuation and support the development of import and export processes across LATAM.
- Supports execution of compliant trade flows and guidance of processes such as non-commercial valuations, new trade flow setups, etc.
- Drives automation and data projects to digitalize processes.
- Supports and maintains trade controls documentation and processes including the review and remediation of areas to correct areas for process improvement.
- Prepare and present regional KPI's and present to segments on the status of process improvement and remediation.
- Lead internal assessments and report on issues found and develop and follow though on remediation efforts with operations teams.
- Interact with other departments including, but not limited to Trade Operations, Law, Tax, HCC, and Finance
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
Master's degree is a plus or the equivalent in experience (Supply Chain, Transport & Distribution, Logistics, International Studies, Legal, Economics, Financial)
- Experience with, or strong interest in, the functional area of Customs or Trade Compliance, with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
Experience performing trade compliance activities for Brazil, Mexico and/or Panama is highly preferred.
- Preferably experience and/or training in the following areas of competence: HTS code determination, Customs valuation principles, rules of origin, free trade agreements, incoterms, AEO in LATAM
- Customer oriented and a pro-active attitude
- Good communication skills, process oriented and strong analytical
- Spanish or Portuguese & English proficiency is required
