We are seeking an experienced Real-Time Data Systems Engineer to join our team.As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining real-time data systems that power our clients' global trading and data services.You will handle alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements ensuring uptime and performance.The ideal candidate will have minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems or production support roles highly skilled in Linux System Administration.Experience with Windows operating systems scripting proficiency Bash and/or Python is preferred.Good communication and oral and written English skills are essential.A strong understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT Best practices is required.Prior experience in banking, investment or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Nice-to-have skills include experience with ITRS Geneos EXEGY Wombat/Vela or Market Data platforms Refinitiv TREP/RTDS Bloomberg familiarity with AWS ECS AWS VPC Google Cloud experience with GitHub/GitLab and automation pipelines.Key Responsibilities:Resolving data quality issues includes root cause analysis while managing internal and external vendors to resolve data issues.SUPPORT ON-CALL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT PROBLEM AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basis while implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Work closely with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience to enrich the team's capability and work together to provide a high level quality of services on Market Data.L2 ALERT MANAGEMENT MANAGING OF ALERTS THAT REQUIRE KNOWLEDGE FOR RESOLUTIONS CREATING AND/OR UPDATING RESOLUTION INTO KNOWLEDGE BASE RUN BOOKS SCRIPTS AND ITRS RULES WHERE POSSIBLEINCIDENT MANAGEMENT MANAGING OF INCIDENT LIFECYCLE FROM IDENTIFICATION TO RESOLUTION ENSURING MITIGATION OF BUSINESS IMPACT IN THE PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT.CHANGE MANAGEMENT MANAGING OF THE PROCESS OF MAKING PRODUCTION CHANGES TO THE TICKER PLANT LIKE MANDATORY UPDATES WHICH INCLUDES CONTENT SOFTWARE CHANGES/UPGRADES THAT ARE PERFORMED BY VENDORS OR INTERNAL TEAMS WHERE ONLY CHECKOUTS ARE NECESSARY.We offer a modern dynamic and future-oriented environment within a top global institution flexible working arrangements fully remote or hybrid options continuous learning and certification opportunities competitive salary and benefits package long-term career prospects with international exposure inclusive multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing and team events.
