This role is with our client in Brazil who are expanding their teamWorkday Enhancement DeveloperLocation: Sao Paulo, Brazil - 2 times per week onsite.Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Workday Enhancement Developer to design, build, and implement scalable enhancements and integrations across our Workday platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday configuration, reporting, and business process optimization, with a strong ability to partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to continuously improve system functionality and user experience.This role is critical to enabling digital HR transformation by developing custom solutions that align with business needs and global compliance standards.Key Responsibilities1. Workday Development & EnhancementsDesign, configure, and deploy enhancements within the Workday HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Payroll, and/or Absence modules.Develop and maintain advanced Workday Studio integrations, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Core Connectors.Implement calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and Workday Extend applications where applicable.Customize and automate business processes to streamline HR operations.2. Continuous ImprovementCollaborate with business stakeholders to identify system optimization opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions.Evaluate Workday's semi-annual releases, assess impact, and implement new features/enhancements where beneficial.Support change requests, bug fixes, and configuration updates with proper testing and documentation.3. Technical Documentation & GovernanceMaintain technical design documents, configuration guides, and integration maps.Ensure all enhancements comply with data security, GDPR, and SOX requirements.Support system governance, access management, and configuration audit controls.4. Collaboration & SupportPartner with HRIS, HR, Finance, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end process improvements.Provide tier-3 support for production incidents, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.Mentor junior Workday analysts/developers and promote best practices in Workday development lifecycle.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or a related field.3–6 years of hands-on Workday experience, including configuration and integration development.Proficiency in:Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Report Writer, and calculated fields.Workday Business Process Framework (BPF) configuration and troubleshooting.XSLT, XML, SOAP/REST APIs, and Web Services integration.Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Talent Management functional processes.Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
