We're seeking an accomplished software engineer to spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge system solutions.About the OpportunityAs a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for crafting innovative Golang-based microservices that power our billing systems.Your expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs will be crucial in streamlining interactions with external financial and operational systems.You'll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across teams to drive new feature delivery and maintain operational excellence.Additionally, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across distributed systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable Golang-based microservices.Develop and integrate efficient RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.Collaborate with event-driven systems and streaming architectures using Kafka.Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Proactively identify and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in professional backend development.Strong hands-on experience with Golang (or proven ability to quickly ramp up).Expertise in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend microservices.Sound understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment.Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka or similar).Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
