We serve over 7M+ users globally Role Description This is a fully remote contract role for a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Oleve, particularly those with strong backend and infrastructure skills.
The Full-Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications.
Tasks include back-end web development using Python and FastAPI and front-end development using React and TypeScript.
Additionally, the engineer will work with MongoDB databases and apply CSS for styling user interfaces.
The engineer will also be involved in full-stack development activities, including participating in code reviews, debugging, and optimizing performance.
You'll leap into action when critical bugs or incidents arise, building, scaling, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems to ensure problems are resolved before they affect our rapidly growing user base.

Requirements 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development, with a strong foundation in Python (Flask/FastAPI), MongoDB, React, React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database design principles, good UX fundamentals.
Experience with managing and deploying to cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, Google.
Proficient with Git and agile methodologies for efficient, collaborative software delivery.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and a passion for creating pixel-perfect UIs.
Bonus: Prior startup experience or a willingness to take on multiple roles and responsibilities.
