Career Area:Product SupportJob Description:Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc.When you join Caterpillar, you'rejoining a global team who cares not just about the work we do – but also about each other.We are the makers, problem solvers, and future world builders who are creating stronger, more sustainable communities.We don'tjust talk about progress and innovation here – we make it happen, with our customers, where we work and live.Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.The Field Service Representative entry level is a 3-4 year program.The first year will be spent in training focused on a broad exposure to Solar's products and the Customer Service organization.The training provided will be a combination of classroom and online training, significant hands-on training, structured on the job training in the field, and mentored controls system training including:Administrative modulesSafety TrainingGas Turbine Package Familiarization trainingControl Systems trainingCustomer Services ExperiencePrinciples & Applications of Control SystemsBorescope of Turbine EnginesPower Generation and Gas CompressionRigging & Lifting of large componentsAlignmentRoutine Maintenance and TroubleshootingAfter the 1 year of classroom and hands on training, a commitment of 3 additional years at the hiring District offices as a Field Service Representative is required.This position requires significant travel and interface in customer facilities.Frequent communication with the customer and technical personnel is required while diagnosing turbine package and balance of plant related issues.In addition, a commitment to working safely and with little supervision in the field environment while maintaining a high degree of responsibility and professionalism is needed.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Related Engineering degree.Must be willing and able to travel, relocate, and work overtime.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude experience.0-3 years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:Able to work in extreme or adverse environments.High integrity and a high level of self-confidence.Ability to handle stress and work in a high-pressure environment.Communicate in a professional manner.Previous internship or related work experience with customer facing activities strongly preferred.Pre-advanced (reading, writing, and speaking) in English.This employer is not currently hiring foreign national applicants that require or will require sponsorship tied to a specific employer.During your application, please attach your CV in Portuguese and English version.Posting Dates:outubro 13, **** - novembro 9, ****Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualified applicants of any age are encouraged to applyNot ready to apply?Join our Talent Community.#J-*****-Ljbffr
