Role Summary/Purpose
- Responsible for product planning and product marketing by managing the product and solutions through the Lifecycle.
Prioritize product and customer requirements.
Define the product vision and go-to market approach/strategy.
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Field Services to ensure successful implementation of products and solutions at the customers' fleets.
Essential Responsibilities
- Understanding customer needs and identifying products and solution that matches their demands/requirements
- Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses
- Defining a vision for a product
- Aligning stakeholders, both internal and externally, around the vision for the product
- Prioritizing product features and capabilities
- Gather product data (performance, competitive intel, etc)
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- At least 5 years of experience in industry
- Language: fluent in English and Portuguese and desired Spanish
- Knowledge on railway business segment
- Ability to work on multi-tasks teams and influence stakeholders, both internal and externally
Business Acumen
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
- Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
- Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
Leadership
- Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
- Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas
- Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers (Road Block) on behalf of the team
- Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
- Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
- Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members
