Role OverviewAs a senior software engineer, you will lead client discussions regarding technical requirements and design, leveraging advanced English skills to drive project success.Design and implement integration processes using MuleSoft to streamline business operations.Demonstrate experience in API development and connecting MuleSoft with Salesforce and other systems to enhance data exchange and efficiency.Develop software programs according to technical specifications, adhering to programming standards and procedures, performing unit testing, implementing program modifications, and resolving issues by diagnosing and correcting logic and coding errors.Gather requirements and design integration architecture, facilitating client discussions on data ingestion using files, streaming, bulk loads, APIs, or direct database connections to optimize data management.Proficiency in Apollo Classes, Batch, Triggers, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, databases, JIRA, and Git version control is essential for success in this role.Experience working in agile projects and familiarity with SCUM, Kanban methodologies, and agile tools will enable seamless collaboration and delivery.Provide insights and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of applications and programs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.Execute detailed and complex unit tests, secure code testing, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality software delivery.Support integration, system, and performance testing, as well as code optimization to improve overall system performance and reliability.Identify and promote opportunities for code, configuration, procedure, and technique reuse to maximize efficiency and minimize duplication.RequirementsTo excel in this position, you must possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on MuleSoft development and Salesforce customization.Technical skills – MuleSoft development and expertise in configuring Salesforce.com, including creating custom objects, fields, buttons, links, record types, formula fields, field dependencies, validation rules, workflows, and approval processes.Development and customization of Salesforce.com applications using reusable Lightning components, Lightning pages, Lightning data services, Apollo Classes, Apollo Triggers, page layouts, sharing rules, static resources, and migration tools within Sales and Service Cloud, including portal development for customers and partners.Practical experience with Web Services/SOA and Metadata APIs to leverage data exchange and integration capabilities.Experience creating custom Web Services to handle inbound requests and outbound calls to external Web Services to drive real-time communication and integration.Proficiency in writing SOQL and SOSL queries and adhering to governance guidelines to ensure data integrity and security.Web development skills including JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript scripting languages, DHTML, SOAP, and AJAX to create dynamic and interactive web applications.Hands-on experience implementing data security using access controls to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.Proficiency in migrating data from legacy applications to Salesforce using the Import Wizard and Data Loader Utility to optimize data transfer and reduce downtime.Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development tools using Agile frameworks and methodologies (Jira/Confluence, Visual Studio, Eclipse) to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.Experience managing multi-country implementations and multiple Salesforce instances to drive global consistency and standardization.Familiarity with best practices across Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and Lightning platforms to ensure optimal user experience and engagement.Experience configuring and customizing managed Field Service packages is a plus to drive streamlined field service operations.MuleSoft Platform Developer certifications are desirable for this role to demonstrate expertise and commitment to MuleSoft technology.Technical CompetenciesThe successful candidate will possess the following technical competencies:Data Modeling: Designs, writes, and tests data models, test scripts, and build scripts using IT processes, standards, and tools, version control, and build/test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.Performance Tuning: Conceptualizes, analyzes, and resolves application, database, and hardware issues using IT processes, standards, and tools, version control, and build/test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
