Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNextracker is seeking an experiencedSupply Chain Managerto develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing and supply chain strategy for electrical and mechanical components.This role will be instrumental in ensuring a resilient supply chain, driving cost reduction initiatives, and fostering supplier innovation.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement processes including NPI, supplier management, and manufacturing operations, particularly within the EMS environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a strategic sourcing plan for electrical and mechanical components in alignment with organizational goals.Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee performance to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.Continuously assess supplier performance in cost, quality, engineering support, and reliability, implementing corrective actions when necessary.Drive innovation and cost reduction initiatives through supplier collaboration and process improvements.Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to align sourcing activities with production requirements.Conduct cost analyses, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency.Ensure procurement processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Identify and mitigate risks related to sourcing and procurement, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and financial instability of suppliers.Monitor industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market availability to refine sourcing strategies.Manage RFQs, support contract manufacturing services (CMS) negotiations, and handle escalations.Oversee quarterly pricing cycles, inventory revaluation, non-recurring expenses (NREs), reconciliation, and capacity expansion.Maintain supplier performance metrics and organize quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers.Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.What We Look ForSelf-enough professionalIntense collaborationPassionate customer focusThoughtful, fast, and disciplined executionTenacious commitment to continuous improvementRequired Qualifications & Experience8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing and supply chain for electrical sub-components (e.g., PCB, Actives, Passives, IC's, Memory) and mechanical parts (e.g., enclosures, castings, cables, connectors).Proven experience managing a global supplier base and distributed teams.Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes for PCBA, box integration, and mechanical assemblies.Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, creativity, and effective communication abilities.High level of autonomy and accountability for results.Preferred Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in Tier 1 EMS management.Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is a plus.Willingness to travel (up to 20%) across Asia, USA and Europe.About NextrackerAt Nextracker, we are leading the energy transition by providing the most comprehensive portfolio of intelligent solar trackers and software solutions for solar power plants.Our talented teams across the globe are transforming PV plant performance through smart technology, data monitoring, and analysis services.At Nextracker, we are leading in the energy transition, providing the most comprehensive portfolio of intelligent solar tracker and software solutions for solar power plants, as well as strategic services to capture the full value of solar power plants for our customers.Our talented worldwide teams are transforming PV plant performance every day with smart technology, data monitoring and analysis services.For us at Nextracker, sustainability is not just a word.It's a core part of our business, values and our operations.Our sustainability efforts are based on five cornerstones: People, Community, Environment, Innovation, and Integrity.We are creative, collaborative and passionate problem-solvers from diverse backgrounds, driven by our shared mission to provide smart solar and software solutions for our customers and to mitigate climate change for future generations.Culture is our Passion
