We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer.The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions on time, utilizing industry best practices, and working in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Scrum Teams, to understand new features and translate user stories into detailed test cases.Strong analytical skills are required to analyze test results and ensure correct functionality, with the ability to interact with the team for the resolution of defects.Responsibilities include ensuring complete testing-related documentation, participating in software releases, and working independently with minimal oversight.A willingness to ask questions when needed is essential to remaining efficient.Requirements:Excellent English communication and collaboration skills6 months to 2 years of work experienceBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university OR relevant work experience instead of a degreeWorking knowledge of Agile development practicesProficient in learning technology quicklyHigh attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office-type tools (e.g., Excel and Word)Preferred qualifications include general quality assurance experience, JavaScript development experience, performance testing experience, Selenium, Postman, or Nightwatch experience, AWS knowledge and experience, Azure VM experience, and working knowledge of SQL.About Us:We are a nearshore software development company providing outsourced development resources to North American companies.Our mission is to offer development talent who enjoy taking on challenging work, want to grow their skills and experiences building software, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
