Windows System Administrator

Role: Windows Administrator (2 open positions) Contract Duration: 1 year (possible extension) Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to join their IT operations team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Windows environments, troubleshooting system and network issues, and administering core Microsoft infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues related to authentication and system performance.
Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within a Windows environment.
Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
Qualifications: Proven experience in Windows system administration.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
Proficiency in managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
Solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and IP subnetting.
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications (not required but a plus): Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MSCE).
Experience with remote desktop support tools.
Familiarity with scripting and automation (Power Shell is a plus).
