Regeneron markets several medicines, including for eye diseases, and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need.OverviewA typical day might include the following: The Diabetic Eye Medical Specialist will report to the Regional Director and will be responsible for daily development and management of relationships with retina specialists and other customer accounts in the assigned territory to grow revenues and consistently deliver product goals.
The primary focus on this role will be the approved indications suffered by diabetic patients as it relates to conditions of the eye.
The Diabetic Eye Medical Specialist will provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support and will effectively utilize Regeneron marketing and operations resources to enhance productivity and provide optimal customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage relationships with retina specialists and other customer accounts in the assigned territory to grow revenues and meet product goals.Provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support, utilizing Regeneron marketing and operations resources to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.QualificationsBA/BS in science or business (master's degree a plus).
Minimum of 5 years' specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.Experience with buy and bill products, reimbursement programs, government programs, managed care, formulary and contract negotiation.Ophthalmology with relevant retina experience is preferred.Based in or near the assigned territory (relocation not provided).
Territory covers major metropolitan areas of Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville and surrounding areas.
Willing to travel up to 40%.
