Calypso Functional SpecialistThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Calypso team as a functional specialist.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support and services to our clients.Your main objective will be to provide expert-level technical assistance and guidance to ensure seamless operations within our Calypso environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide timely and effective support for production-related issues and troubleshoot problems arising from daily activities in the Calypso system.Collaborate with FO and MO users on Calypso-related matters.Configure, update, and optimize functional setups within the Calypso platform.Execute scheduled tasks (SOD/EOD) where required.Develop necessary functional solutions for the Calypso instance as per client requirements.Maintain market quotes and error messages in the Calypso system.Monitor feed and security definitions download and reprocess trades or events.Ensure supporting documents are complete, current, and stored properly.You may also act as a business analyst to help the team gather and write requirements and acceptance criteria.A sampling of tasks expected to be performed include configuring standard and custom interfaces within Calypso, setting up quote feeds from Bloomberg, and other related tasks.To be successful in this role, you should have:3+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and Calypso.Good knowledge of Financial products cross-assets.Expertise with front-to-back Calypso derivatives solution, including accounting, preferably with an insurance industry focus.Ability to work with little supervision, be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator with strong problem-solving skills.We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development.
