Senior Cloud Developer PositionThis position involves developing and maintaining a private cloud application using Python.Main Responsibilities:Develop high-performance cloud technologies using primarily Python.Deliver high-quality solutions and code.Write unit tests to improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.Work as part of an agile software development process team.Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy a private cloud platform aimed at 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Required Skills:Solid backend developer experience, preferably with Python knowledge.Familiarity with Linux Essentials.Command line skills and working with files.Create and restore compressed backups and archives.System security: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories.Create and run simple scripts.Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers.Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with Senior Technical Leaders.Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools.Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers).
