The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the BigCommerce platform and a strong understanding of B2B processes, integrations, and customizations. This role involves developing scalable, user-friendly, and secure eCommerce applications that meet the specific needs of B2B customersAs a BigCommerce Senior developer you will: ● Develop and enhance BigCommerce-based B2B eCommerce solutions with features like custom pricing, account management, and multi-level user roles. ● Implement advanced B2B functionalities such as bulk ordering, reordering, and request-for-quote (RFQ) processes. ● Hands on experience in customizing checkout and enhancing payment capabilities. ● Experience in handling shipping providers integrations. ● Customize workflows for B2B-specific needs like tax exemptions, volume discounts, and credit limits. ● Work with BigCommerce APIs, webhooks, and graphQL to develop robust integrations for seamless data flow. ● Work on headless BigCommerce implementations and ensure seamless integration with CMS or custom front ends. ● Work in an agile team, committing to estimates and delivering within fixed sprints. ● Collaborate with technical leads & solutions architects for aspects related to integrations with other systems. Skills & AbilitiesB.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, with strong fundamentals and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency with the BigCommerce platform, including the Stencil framework, Storefront APIs, and BigCommerce Admin API. Hands-on experience with B2B functionalities, including customer groups, advanced pricing rules, and catalog segmentation.Familiarity with features like multi-user accounts, role-based permissions, and advanced reporting for B2B buyers.Knowledge of B2B payment methods, shipping methods, and tax compliance requirements. Expertise in front-end development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like react. Proficiency in server-side technologies like Node.js is plus. Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and SAP. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and work on multiple projects simultaneously. The ability and drive to research and solve problems.
