Senior Application Developer – AI Course Bots100% Remote | Long-Term Contract | EST Working HoursAbout the RoleOur client is seeking an experiencedSenior Application Developerto help build next-generationAI-powered course botsusinggenerative AI technologies on AWS Cloud .This role will play a key part in transforming business education through intelligent, interactive, and scalable learning experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and developenterprise-grade AI course botswith a focus on scalability, performance, extensibility, and system integration.Implement the technical vision of the course bot platform using appropriateAI models, APIs, and AWS cloud services .Collaborate closely withfaculty, product managers, and ed-tech expertsto translate educational requirements into technical solutions.Buildsecure, robust, and scalable cloud-native solutionson AWS for bot deployment and operations.Follow best practices inAI-focused software development , including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies.Integratecutting-edge generative AI technologiesto keep the platform at the forefront of educational innovation.Implementdata ingestion, storage, and retrieval pipelinesto support AI model workflows.Ensureseamless integrationwith Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital platforms.Implementmonitoring, logging, and analyticsto track bot performance, usage patterns, and learning outcomes.Enforcesecurity, privacy, and compliance standards , including FERPA and educational data protection requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business goals and user experience.Stay updated on emerging trends inAI, cloud computing, and educational technologyand recommend innovative enhancements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent) inComputer Science, Software Engineering , or related field.5+ yearsof professional software development experience, primarily withcloud-native applications .Strong experience withserverless architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems .Hands-on experience withRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) , includingGraphRAG and contextual retrieval .Experience withgenerative AI evaluation frameworks .Experience withmulti-agent frameworkssuch asAutoGen, LangGraph , or similar tools.Strong knowledge ofAWS services , especially:AI/ML: SageMaker, BedrockServerless: Lambda, Step FunctionsData: S3, DynamoDB, RDSStrong production-level coding skills inPythonandJavaScript / TypeScript .Experience building AI/NLP applications usingpre-trained and autoregressive LLMs(OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Google, etc.).Experience designing and implementingRESTful APIs and GraphQL services .Familiarity withDevOps practices , including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing.Solid understanding ofdata security, privacy, and compliancein educational environments.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience working inAgile development environments .Preferred QualificationsBackground ineducational technology or e-learning platforms .Experience withInfrastructure as Code(Terraform, AWS CDK).Advanced understanding ofLLMs and machine learning algorithms .Contributions toopen-source projects or academic research .Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such asReact or Vue.jsand backend integration.
