Job Title: Head of Sales (Sales Manager)Department: Sales Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Location: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brazil Employment Type: Full-Time, CLT ou PJ Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Head of Sales to lead and scale our commercial operations in Brazil. This is both a strategic and operational role, ideal for someone who can design sales strategies and execute them personally.You will be working in a startup environment, not a corporate structure. This means high autonomy, fast decision-making, direct customer contact, and the flexibility to step outside your job title when needed. In addition to defining the sales strategy, you will be actively involved in prospecting, client visits, negotiations, and closing deals.This role is critical to the company's growth. You will have a direct impact on revenue generation, team building, and the development of scalable sales processes as the company expands.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Revenue GrowthDevelop, implement, and continuously optimize clear, measurable sales strategiesDefine priorities by region, product, and customer segmentActively drive revenue through calls, on-site visits, and negotiationsIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesAdapt strategies quickly based on real-world market feedbackField Sales ExecutionPersonally visit clients and prospects when requiredOpen new accounts through cold outreach and door-to-door visitsSupport and close strategic and high-value negotiationsRepresent the company professionally in the fieldTeam Leadership & CoordinationCoordinate daily with internal sales reps, freelancers, and partnersSet targets, KPIs, and execution plansLead from the front with active selling and field presenceTrain, motivate, and hold the team accountable for resultsCRM, Processes & ReportingWork in a structured manner with the CRM system (HubSpot is essential)Monitor pipeline, conversion rates, ticket size, and individual performanceReport results, forecasts, and action plans to managementEnsure sales activities align with operational and logistical capacityStartup & Operational SupportOperate effectively in a fast-paced startup with changing prioritiesUnderstand core operational and logistical processes to support sales executionSupport operations when needed to remove bottlenecksCollaborate closely with finance, operations, and marketing teamsContribute to improving internal processes as the company scalesRequirementsMust-HaveProven experience as a Head of Sales, Sales Manager, or senior B2B sales professionalStrong ability to build and execute sales strategiesComfortable with frequent calling and door-to-door salesHighly results-driven and accountableFlexible mindset suited to a startup environmentFluent Portuguese and good English skillsSolid CRM and pipeline management experience (HubSpot is essential)Nice-to-HaveExperience in horeca, wholesale, FMCG, or food & beverageExperience in early-stage or scaling companiesCompensation & RewardsCompetitive base salaryStrong performance-based bonus structureClear and direct link between results and compensationLong-term growth opportunities as the company scalesWho This Role Is ForThis role is for someone who:Thrives in a startup environmentIs flexible, hands-on, and solution-orientedBuilds strategies and executes them personallyIs motivated by performance-based rewardsTakes full ownership of sales performance and outcomes
