Backend Engineer Location: Brazil (Remote)Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Content Systems – Convergence team. In this role, you will design, build, and scale backend services that power content platforms used at scale. You will work closely with product, platform, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance systems in a modern cloud-native environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.jsBuild and optimize content-focused backend systems with high availability and performanceDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsDeploy, monitor, and manage services using KubernetesWork with cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCPEnsure best practices in system design, security, observability, and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend solutions with product needsParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-makingMentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practicesMust-Have QualificationsStrong experience building Node.js backend services in production environmentsHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub ActionsSolid experience with Kubernetes and containerized applicationsProven experience working with AWS and GCP cloud platformsStrong understanding of modern backend architecture and infrastructure toolingExperience with RESTful APIs and distributed systems
