Azure Cloud Engineer with Bicep Location: Remote (EST Hours)Contract Duration: 12 months (with possible extension for ongoing needs)Experience requiredMust have 10/10 communication and ability to articulate well.Azure infrastructure.*************************Automation via BICEPOverview:We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Azure to support our evolving cloud infrastructure needs following a recent organizational restructure. These roles will help address increased workloads and support cross-functional initiatives within our application and data teams.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the development, optimization, and automation of Azure-based cloud solutions.Work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SaFE), actively participating in backlog grooming and refinement sessions.Provide technical input and recommendations to improve existing backlog items and identify gaps.Collaborate with application and data teams to ensure infrastructure and network solutions meet project requirements.Support and optimize services within an Application Service Environment (ASE).Configure and manage Private Endpoints and Azure Private Link for secure access.Assist with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.Troubleshoot network configurations and support secure connectivity between services.Required Skills & Experience:3–5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.Proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Databricks, and automation tools.Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform).Experience with Private Endpoints, Private Link, and ASE configuration.Basic networking knowledge (VNet, NSGs, routing).Experience working within a SaFE Agile environment and contributing to backlogs.Strong communication and collaboration skills
