Technical Project Specialist

ZTE is looking for TheTechnical Project Specialist – Data Center / IDCis a hybridtechnical delivery and project execution role, responsible for supportingend-to-end deliveryofIntegrated Data Center (IDC) / Mission Critical E&M projects, frombid support and estimationthroughplanning, site execution, commissioning, acceptance, and handover.This role operates in amatrix organization, withno direct people management, and acts as atechnical project owner at execution level, coordinating internal teams and external contractors to ensurescope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and acceptance objectivesare met.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & ExecutionSupportend-to-end project deliveryforData Center / IDC E&M projects, including electrical and HVAC scope.Translate bid assumptions intoexecution plans, schedules, and acceptance criteria.Coordinate site execution activities in alignment with approved scope, schedule, and quality standards.Bid Support, Estimation & BOMSupportbidding and pre-sales activitieswith technical inputs.Prepare or validatecost estimations,Bill of Materials (BOM), and delivery assumptions.Provide technical and execution inputs to protect project feasibility and margins.Planning & Schedule ControlDevelop and maintainbaseline project schedules(e.g., MS Project, Primavera or equivalent).Track progress, critical path, risks, and deviations, proposing corrective and mitigation actions.Site Coordination (Matrix Environment)Coordinate technical activities acrossengineering, supply chain, quality, HSE, finance/contracts, andexternal vendors/subcontractors.Ensure alignment onscope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, testing, and acceptance readiness.Act as a technical focal point during execution, without direct people management.Quality, HSE & Regulatory ComplianceSupport and verify compliance withHSE, site safety, and quality requirements.Ensure adherence to applicableBrazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), includingNR-10 (Electrical Safety)andNR-35 (Work at Height), according to project scope.Support audits, inspections, and closure of non-conformities.Commissioning, Acceptance & HandoverCoordinatecommissioning and acceptance readiness, including punch lists, test evidence, and acceptance documentation.Support preparation ofas-built documentationandhandover packagesto customers.Cost Control & Collections InterfaceTrack execution cost drivers and efficiency.Supportpayment milestone and collections readinessby ensuring technical and acceptance deliverables are completed in line with contractual requirements.Process Improvement & Digital ToolsSupport implementation and continuous improvement ofIDC delivery processes, controls, and reporting.Promote use ofdigital toolsfor planning, reporting, and documentation control.Stakeholder & Customer InterfaceAct as a technical interface withcustomers, internal stakeholders, and partners.Support customer satisfaction through transparent communication and execution discipline.Required Qualifications3+ yearsof experience inData Center (IDC) / Mission Critical infrastructure project delivery,orequivalent experience in critical electrical or HVAC construction projects with site exposure.Proven experience supportingproject execution and customer acceptancein construction or mission-critical environments.Bachelor degree inElectrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial/Production Engineering, or related fields ispreferred.Technical/technologist degrees may be considered with strong hands-on experience in mission-critical environments.English:Advanced(mandatory) – spoken and written.Portuguese:Fluent(mandatory).Mandarin Chinese and/or Spanish:nice to have.Solid knowledge ofelectrical systems or HVACfor data centers or mission-critical facilities.Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings, site documentation, and specifications.Experience withAutoCADor equivalent CAD tools.Strong understanding ofproject delivery, execution tracking, risk and issue management, and acceptance preparation.Basic contract and scope awareness related to milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.Advanced English(spoken and written).Strong communication and coordination skills in multi-stakeholder environments.MobilityWillingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.Preferred / Nice to HaveMBA or Postgraduate degree in Project Management, Operations, or Engineering.Experience inlarge-scale or international data center projects.Familiarity withcommissioning and testingof mission-critical facilities.Experience withMS Project, Primavera, advanced Excel, or reporting tools.Exposure todocumentation control, including change logs, punch lists, and handover documentation.Knowledge ofHSE practicesin construction or critical environments.If you see yourself in this position and would like to become a part of ZTE group, please apply sending you resume in English version.
