ABB is looking for a Automation Analyst to join the B&R Automation team in Curitiba, Brazil. In this role, you will be part of a specialized team developing automation solutions for OEMs and clients in the manufacturing and energy sectors. If you are seeking a challenging and collaborative environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and technical excellence - this opportunity is for youYour ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support services (on-site and remote), identifying and solving automation issues.Develop and implement software and hardware solutions throughout different project phases.Plan and execute commissioning activities, ensuring deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.Prepare and deliver technical training (on-site or remote) on B&R solutions.Draft accurate and timely service reports and technical documentation.Demonstrate a sense of urgency, responsibility, and commitment in all project stages and customer interactions.Lead the creation of highly technical value proposals by understanding the unique needs of customer teams and aligning them with B&R offerings.Identify, define, and develop the best technical solution and strategy for customer applications.Proactively engage with customers to uncover and document challenges, issues, and opportunities.Support internal and external resources in business opportunities to build mindshare, trust, and influence customer requirements toward B&R's strengths.Stay updated on major technological innovations and lead engagement with product managers and internal teams to better leverage technical opportunities.Lead the development, demonstration, and follow-up of strategic technical value proposals, ensuring customers fully understand the proposed and demonstrated value.Your BackgroundDegree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.Experience in industrial automation projects and application engineering.Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs, industrial networks, servo drives, and I/Os.Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Structured Text, Ladder, or other high-level languages.Intermediate to advanced English (for email communication, phone conversations, and participation in training sessions).Reside in Curitiba/PR or nearby, with availability for 100% on-site work and occasional travel.Nice to HaveExperience with web development (CSS, HTML, JavaScript).Advanced knowledge in Motion Control, Robotics/CNC, and Machine Vision systems.Understanding of operating systems and hardware architecture.What We Offer100% on-site work model with technical infrastructure and expert support.Direct exposure to cutting-edge technologies and impactful industrial projects.A collaborative, technically focused and innovation-driven environment.Real opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.#LI-OnsiteAbout ABB's B&R DivisionB&R - a member of the ABB Group - is a global leader in machine and factory automation, combining motion control, logic control, visualization, and safety into a unified platform.
