Job Purpose

Carrying out highly complex activities in the development of studies for the application of new technologies / new equipment/ product lifecycle management, with the aim of presenting technical and economic feasibility solutions the product.

Job Description

Define and align product standardization roadmap and design workflow; identify & study product/supplier design alternatives; deselect design alternatives in alignment with cost target and supply strategy. Establish product design rules and the required specification for the TI developer built the associated configurator software; supervise configurator development. Deploy and support continuous improvement after configurator deployment. Realize a product qualification and certification process of the product design rules when applicable. Perform structural analysis of the equipment or ancillaries using analytical (hand calculations) and numerical (finite element analysis) methods. Coordinate all interfaces with support areas to ensure deadlines and goals are met. Align the product development progress with the stakeholders. Location: Eco Sapucaí - Cidade Nova, Rio de Janeiro

You are meant for this job if:

Degree in Mechanical or Naval Engineering CREA 'Experience in the stages of product development, from concept to commercialization Experience in structural analysis of the equipment or ancillaries using analytical (hand calculations) and numerical (finite element analysis) methods Experience in the subsea area Familiarity with industry standards and codes of practice Experience in engineering projects Mathcad and ANSYS are plus Advanced English
