How to contribute to our vision  

Keep themselves informed about all released Safety communications from the TSC and share the status with the Major Projects Organization. Acts primarily as an adviser to the Project Manager in Environment, Health & Safety matters. The functions of this position are to coordinate and monitor the implementation of project HSE plan at the project site. •Prepare the specific documentation required for Major Projects in accordance with SGRE IMS (bridging document for Major Projects) or local requirements (e.g. CPP) and emergency response documentation, coordinate and cooperate with EHS Advisor to ensure that these documents are available, communicated and implemented on site. •Maintain current knowledge of applicable Environment health & safety standards and regulations and update the project HSE plan as required. Support the Project and Site management team in matters relating to environment health & safety. •Provide assistance and direction to all employees in the project on environment health & safety matters. Keep the Project Management team informed of EHS progress and any deficiencies. •Investigate and report occupational injuries, illnesses, and incidents as required and provide Project Management with recommended actions to correct and prevent recurrence. •Stop any operation deemed unsafe until sufficient corrective and preventive action can be taken to ensure that the operation can be continued safely. Coordinate and cooperate with managers of contractors and other participants to ensure that their employees on-site are aware of their EHS responsibility and have the necessary knowledge and competence to manage EHS risks. Support the development of Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks whenever necessary Be a Home safe Champion for the project and work with supervisory teams to promote this culture Ensure that an inventory system is in place to track and monitor the inspection and maintenance of tools and equipment according to statutory requirements. Perform periodic site inspections focusing on general risks at the workplace including incident reports. Ensure that Monthly EHS Meetings with all Contractors are chaired and minuted. Ensure appropriate arrangements for proactively monitoring and assessing HSE performance with all suppliers, including support of First Service Evaluation (FSE). Implement of improvement plans (contractor management) •Driving the ongoing focus on and implementation #Home Safe culture, 10 Life-saving rules Ensure successful & safe operations and compliance with all applicable laws, standards •Initiate auditing and safety inspections at MP Locations. •Initiate Environmental incident investigation & reporting if MP is responsible Initiate Work accidents investigation and prevention if MP is responsible •Support monitoring Wind University profiles and training requirements per site in-house and subcontracted personnel Communication and collaboration with other HSE team members across the business as well as contribution to project lessons learned to share learning and develop best practices Create, review and distribute HSE Folder: plan associated tasks and documentation to fulfill HSE requirements and prevent HSE incidents and document them into HSE Plan; including emergency response Review all suppliers project documentation

What you need to make a difference

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, or related field.

Proven experience in a similar EHS role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Position to be located in Parnaíba – Piauí and also responsible for others wind farms.

English and Spanish (advanced)
