Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Electrification - Automation - Digitalization Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day We are thrilled to announce a position for a Digitalization Product Owner as we continue to improve our product technology and broaden our software offering. This critical position will play a key role in directing the strategic and efficient implementation of our roadmap and software product strategy, opening the door for profitable expansion. In order to guarantee that the needs of the customer are prioritized during the development process, the Digitalization Product Owner will play a crucial role as a point of contact between the product development team and product portfolio management. Through the establishment of perfect alignment with important internal and external customers, this role is designed to help us achieve our business goals. How You’ll Make an Impact Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and articulate the product's vision and strategy, aligning with business goals and market needs. Support the implementation of the product roadmap, ensuring it meets customer expectations and business goals. Requirements Analysis & Management: Lead the definition, analysis, and prioritization of requirements for new functionalities and improvements. This involves crafting clear and concise solution requirements, developing documentation (flowcharts, layouts, diagrams), and ensuring operational feasibility. Digital Focus: Adapt to digital product management by understanding and using digital trends, customer digital journeys, and technology advancements. Ensure the product aligns with digital standards and practices, enhancing user experience and digital engagement. Customer Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between customers, development teams, and business partners. Communicate product vision and updates effectively to ensure alignment and support from all parties involved. Quality Assurance & Testing: Guide the development of test cases and product acceptance criteria. Be responsible for acceptance testing to guarantee the delivery of high-quality solutions. Market & Customer Insight: Maintain market awareness and customer insight to identify and interpret market trends and customer needs. Support marketing activities through research and analysis, supplying to product positioning, licensing, and pricing strategies. Backlog Management: Lead and prioritize the product backlog, balancing feature requests, enhancements, and maintenance needs against strategic business goals and customer value. Documentation & Training: Be responsible for the creation of extensive knowledge management documents, release notes, user manuals, and training materials. Support the operations phase with standard demo scenarios and maintenance processes. Change Management: Effectively lead product changes, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the development phase. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the Product Lifecycle Manager to ensure cohesive effort in product development, go-to-market strategies, and market analysis. Digital Innovation: Stay abreast of digital innovation and technology trends to continuously evolve the product and maintain its competitiveness in the digital landscape. Support Product Support: Work collaboratively with the Siemens Energy Product Support team to address customer inquiries about the product. Assist in resolving raised or unresolved issues related to the product. Participate in Sales Activities: Contribute to software sales efforts by creating RFPs and proposals. Coordinate with the sales team to organize software demonstrations for potential clients. What you BringBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or an equivalent. 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Integrity (MI) related domain in the process industries of Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, and Chemicals. Experience in Software Product Management, Engineering, Technology Strategy and Requirement Engineering. Experience in the following MI areas is required: Applications of MI concepts and tools, , RBI, RCM, FFS, IOW, etc. RBI methodologies, , API RP 580, API RP 581, and practical application Development and implementation of IDMS and ITPM programs Operation of pressure equipment and management of ageing assets In service degradation of materials and corrosion assessment Asset inspection related industry design codes and standards, , ASME, API, CCPS Exposure with the following software is desirable: PSAIM, UltraPIPE, API RBI, RiskWISE and/or Capstone RBMI, Meridium Corrosion and Inspection Manager. Experience with data mining, predictive analytics, and data visualization technology platforms and tools. Knowledge of process safety information management practices and industry work processes is desirable. Familiarity with agile frameworks and practices. Advanced English Leadership skills Communication Customer Focus Organized, Proactive, and Results Driven Problem Solving End User Emotional intelligence & Understanding of Business Strategy
