Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Supply Chain Planning Leader to oversee and optimize Corteva supply chain processes.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of implementing effective planning strategies.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

· Lead a team of supply chain Mater Schedulers, Asset schedulers and Material Planners, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial, to drive integrated planning processes and foster strong relationships.

· Utilize advanced analytics to identify potential risks, and opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

· Continuously monitor and evaluate key performance metrics, such as 1st day availbility, inventory turns, service levels, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.

· Manage monthly ending inventory projections and health of inventory.

· Ensure demand requirements and supply capability are translated into a time-phased supply and inventory plan in monthly resolution over the IBP horizon that satisfies expected demand, is capacity feasible and at the lowest business cost.

· Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain disruptions, including supplier issues, production delays, and transportation challenges, to minimize impact on customer satisfaction and business operations.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and process improvements.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the supply chain organization, promoting collaboration, accountability, and a customer-centric mindset.

· Leadership and facilitation skills to manage across functions, regions, and assets.

· Technical capability/ expertise to manage complex planning tools, IBP.

· Process and continuous improvement focus.

· Long term planning strategic focus.

· Ability to communicate clear risks and impacts to drive effective strategic business decisions.

· Expertise to complete trade off analysis to make recommendations to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration

· Master’s degree preferred.

· 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or related roles, with a demonstrated track record of success in leading cross-functional teams and driving results.

· Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes, methodologies, and tools, such as ERP systems, advanced planning systems (IBP).

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights, and make sound decisions under pressure.

· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

· Experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing preferred.

· Certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or Six Sigma are a plus.
