Your role at Baxter

As Occupational Safety Techinician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless execution of our world-class manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the team to maintain and improve our safety and environmental health practices, allowing us to consistently deliver outstanding products to our customers.

What you'll be doing:

Rigorously adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Resolve and implement effective strategies to mitigate safety risks and hazards in the manufacturing facility

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant EHS standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs

Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Supervise and supervise EHS performance metrics, provide reports, and recommend improvements to management

Stay informed about current industry trends and effective strategies in EHS to cultivate ongoing improvement and innovation.

What you'll need:

Proven experience in a similar EHS role within a manufacturing environment

Solid understanding of local EHS regulations and standards in Brazil

Excellent communication and social skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels

Diligent to details and capable of recognizing potential risks, while effectively implementing preventive measures.

Ability to efficiently implement and lead EHS programs and initiatives

Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English
