Position Title: Tax Specialist

Location: Campinas, SP (Hybrid) 

Position Reports To: Indirect Tax MGR LATAM

Major Responsibility Areas (MRAs):

• Assure Indirect tax compliance requirements for MEXICO Legal entities

• Do the tax calculations for the Indirect taxes (VAT, IEPs, WHTs, )

• Prepare and deliver the tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.

• Do the monthly Reconciliation and present the blackline, also the correlative accounting entries explanation or propose adjusts

• Provide Invoices validations – Workflow analyzes.

• Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.

• Manage and maintain the company’s tax database (TAX IT Projects and Tickets)

• Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.

• Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.

• Internal process owner for internal and external audits for the area (Find documents and support inquiries)

• Responsible for monthly present the VAT REFUND process and answer the Authorities requirements related to this process

• Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.

• Work with internal customers (Customer Services, Logistics and Comex) to support in invoice related issues and projects

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

At least 05 years in similar role in transformation industry multinational company Deep knowledgne of Tax in Mexico Advanced English Fluent Spanish Previous experience in System implementation or version updates (SAP) Excel Proficiency Strong ownership Strong communication and relationship with teams Great capacity of analysis and º business view and impact Autonomy

Work Schedule: 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home
