We're seeking a skilled Magento Engineer to join our vibrant e-commerce development team in Brazil. As a Magento Engineer, you'll play a vital role in crafting and maintaining our Magento-based e-commerce solutions, ensuring they're resilient, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse teams to comprehend business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop, customize, and uphold Magento-based e-commerce platforms, encompassing theme integration, module development, and backend enhancements.
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and Magento development guidelines.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical glitches and bugs in Magento applications.
  • Implement and oversee third-party integrations and extensions to enrich e-commerce functionality.
  • Enhance website performance, focusing on page load times, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Stay abreast of Magento updates, security patches, and best practices, ensuring timely upgrades.
  • Work closely with front-end developers and designers to ensure a seamless and visually captivating user experience.
  • Assist in quality assurance and testing endeavors to detect and resolve issues pre-deployment.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives within the development team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese.
  • Proven track record as a Magento Developer or Magento Engineer, showcasing a robust portfolio of Magento projects.
  • Proficiency in Magento development technologies, encompassing PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Magento best practices, architecture patterns, and design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and independently, with stellar communication and collaboration prowess.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Exposure to marketplace e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
