Production Engineer

Summary:

In this role, you will oversee and optimize production lines to ensure safe and stable operations while driving continuous improvement in EHS, quality, productivity, and cost through CI initiatives, project execution, and innovation.

As a Production Engineer, you will also contribute to the product lifecycle, from initial planning through to final production.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintain safe and stable operations in responsible production lines

Support achieving production goals in EHS/quality/schedule attainment/productivity/cost

Support global technology transfer and new product introduction to the plant by going through the NPI/NPT process

Lead and implement Capex as well as improvement projects as operations representative, and ensure safe and on-time startup

Develop operations SOP and conduct training/qualification/coaching to operators

Ensure good on-site management of materials (Yields) and OEE

Lead root cause analysis and implement follow-ups of un-planned events from operations perspectives, can leverage lessons learned to responsible production lines or cross-sites

Drive cycle time reduction, asset capacity increasing, and operations efficiency optimization in responsible areas with innovative solutions

Implement Operation Excellence program and CI (continuous improvement) initiatives in responsible production lines

Support promote safety, quality, and CI culture in responsible production lines

Work with Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Process Engineering, and Process Technology to ensure all requirements of production are met

Work with the Operations Manager to develop cost productivity savings to ensure the efficient running of the Production Department.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

Bachelor in chemical engineering, production engineering, or equivalent.

2 years of manufacturing experience in a processing environment.

Strong personal orientation towards the safety of self and others.

Uses effective problem-solving skills.

Good interpersonal and motivational skills

Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset

English Advanced to Fluent

Project Management

Lean Certification (Green Belt)
