Why the job exists 

To manage the workflow of all editorial projects that run out of the LATAM office, with regards to priority content, strategic outputs, non-BAU tasks.  To ensure that processes are being followed and continually reviewed to ensure maximum efficiency across content briefing, creation, and validation. To ensure that editorial standards are maintained to an exceptional standard through continual review of outputs.  To provide insight on new content opportunities that will drive better performance. To provide leadership for all editorial teams.  To scale up existing projects to become content hubs, implementing a team structure that meets the project needs.  To consult on the editorial needs of projects, from outputs to resourcing.  To be point of contact for editorial needs from the clients  To provide management of the Digital PR team and all interactions with media outlets to foster relationships and expand client content and story placements.

What the job covers 

Weekly management and leadership of the Editorial Teams. Be the content lead creating and reviewing content strategies for Greenpark clients.  Review and uphold content quality including timeliness of delivery, tone of voice and messaging consistency to ensure our content is being delivered in the most impactful way.  Consulting on topic selection for SEO and production needs. Consulting on any UX/UI changes for the site through the lens of editorial, as well as helping to manage the process of completion in conjunction with the Client Services and Operations department. Working with the wider GPC departments to ensure that the content and client needs are met.  Client servicing on business needs and priorities.

Responsibilities 

Own the editorial outputs of the agency; creating strategies and standards of output for all projects; Act as the bridge between the SEO, Editorial, Social and Creative teams ensuring all work is in keeping with brand guidelines and tone of voice; Hold weekly connects with all Local Editorial Leads (CCOs / Editors / Writers / Freelancers) to discuss the execution of the content strategy, outputs, tasks, and any blockers they are experiencing.  Maintain clear overview of all editorial resources and functions, including freelancers, from briefing and reviewing quality of work. Ensure that all content calendars and trackers are maintained.  Create and uphold editorial best practices on all projects to ensure content is created to an exceptional standard. Provide data-led insight on new content opportunities that will drive better performance across channels and meet the changing needs of the client. Liaise with the SEO team to monitor rankings and discuss optimisation strategies that will require editorial input.  Liaise with the Client Services department to ensure that we are delivering on client needs. Liaise with the Client Services and Business Development team to pitch and grow all accounts. Leading on editorial needs for new projects, from outputs, content types, WoW, and resourcing. Maintain overview from concept to deliver and review of all projects. Leading on the creation, execution and review of content strategies for all projects based out of the LATAM office that will ultimately grow the audience and performance of all channels.  Liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure we have efficient processes and appropriate resourcing across all projects. Alongside editorial duties, there is an element of holistic content management, working closely with the other department heads and leading on content strategy, including: Work with the Producer to ensure that there the asset needs (video and image) are suitable for the platform and are fit for purpose. Maintain an overview of social media activity (plans and asset creation) to ensure they align with the editorial calendar and needs of the audience and platform. This includes any influencer activity for the channel and how this may serve .com needs. Liaise with the Digital PR team on the outreach strategy and content creation plan for backlining purposes.  Liaise with the Project Manager(s) on a weekly basis for sprint planning and updating the Editorial Tasks boards accordingly.

Management 

Oversee content management and editorial insights for all clients in the LATAM region, while also contributing globally to the structure, workflow, insights, and improvements of the department. 

The aim is to drive innovation and deliver high-quality results, ultimately enhancing organic performance for the agency's clients. 

Reporting and Communication Structure 

Report to the Managing Director LATAM 

Communication with all local Editorial Teams, including input to performance review.

Working with the editorial teams to maintain the editorial calendar, planning of content for all channels, including YouTube and Social Media, to ensure that the assets are fit for purpose and work for the platform.

Financial 

Approval of expenses for the Editorial Team and other expenses claimed through offices alongside with de MD and Finance. 

Raising Cost Estimates for any freelance project work managed at the global level. 

Performance review and personal development 

By the LATAM Managing Director on the basis of:

Execution and performance of global content strategies. 

Effective management of the local editorial leads. 

Maintenance of the content tracker and calendar. 

Quality of content is being met. 

All processes involving editorial are seamless and efficient. 

Tagging of all ATH sites are complete. 

Global client needs are being met. 

Brand and special project strategies are being effectively executed. 

Relationships with other operating companies/departments; 

Interpersonal/communication skills;

Being a team player;
