The Role

Responsibilities:

Install and apply patches on Oracle databases (19c and other versions)

Migrate Oracle databases from older versions to newest versions.

Troubleshoot general database issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the system.

Execute regular database backups and restore databases from backups when necessary.

Clone databases from backups using Oracle Data Pump (expdp / impdp).

Work with multitenant environments, ensuring proper configuration and management.

Perform performance tuning and optimization on Oracle database environments.

Install and apply patches on Oracle databases in GRID environments for version 19c.

Install and apply patches on Oracle databases in RAC/Data Guard environments for version (19c and other versions)

Utilize knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard to support high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Understand Oracle Grid environment and manage resources accordingly.

Have a solid understanding of Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and its implementation.

Advanced English is required

Who You Are

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with a strong knowledge of Oracle databases.

OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) certification is a plus.

Familiarity with Oracle RAC and Data Guard technologies and their implementation.

In-depth understanding of Oracle Grid infrastructure and resource management.

Proficiency in troubleshooting Oracle database issues and performance tuning.

Ability to execute database backup and restore operations using Oracle Data Pump.

Strong knowledge of multitenant database architecture.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Advanced English is required

Note: OCP certification is a plus, but not a requirement for this position.
