ROLE PURPOSE

As a Regulatory Engineer, you will be part of the Brazilian Operations team. You will be working collaboratively with Asset integrity, HSE (Occupational & Process Safety), HR, Quality and Vessel dedicated teams in order to decrease fleet operational risk. The regulatory management team has the mission that Regulatory requirements are known, applicable and embedded within our Business activities. Our department shall provide governance, support, and control on regulatory matters.

As Regulatory Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring prevention and mitigation of risks to our personnel, assets, the environment, our Company reputation, and for ensuring compliance with all standards, rules and other requirements by Company, Regulators and Clients.

ROLE CONTRIBUTION

Develop and maintain Regulatory plans and other relevant documentation meeting applicable requirements and expectations.Provide technical advice and support to the Vessel Dedicated Team and support departments.

Act as Regulatory Business Partner towards a designated unit. Be able to technically distinguish potential risks and escalate exposures and operations issues (as required). Contribute to qualification and/or selection of vendors/sub-contractors. Lead and/or conduct internal and external verifications/surveys/audits and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are identified and effectively implemented. Manage deviations and related mitigating measures. Contribute to continuous improvements of the management system and system tools, through providing feedback and lessons learnt to discipline community and Process Owners. Report incidents and monitor assigned actions. Take part in incident investigations (as required). Consult and align with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally. Monitor performance of the project, operation, vendor and/or sub-contractor in relation to your Regulatory activities

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience in this function. Strong knowledge and experience dealing with ANP and regulatory agencies. Knowledge over SGSO (ANP) and/or Process Safety. Fluent in English.
