QHSE Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and improves QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures to support business operations under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001  Communicates information on the QHSE Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels  Prepares QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the Operations team.  Undertakes QHSE inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company. Develop, facilitate, and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team. Record and advise QHSE key performance indicators monthly and issue reports as necessary. Develops, implements, and encourages the behavioral-based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections. Actively participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with management.  Acts as the Company’s representative in all regulatory QHSE meetings, committees, and seminars.  Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her superior.  Understand, implement, and follow the Company’s QHSE policies. Report any HSE incident immediately as per HSE procedures. 

Requirements:

Educated to a degree level with a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field  Qualification in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control  Previous experience in the marine boat building industry or automotive industry  Have worked as a Production/Operations/ Quality and Safety Manager and/or Supervisor of a successful team and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success  Have strong quality and safety management skills  Possess strong people management skills  ISO 9001/ISO 45001 certificate training
