About the Role The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain the architecture and systems that enable efficient collection, storage, processing, and analysis of data. This role ensures that all company data—including marketing, affiliate, intake, and operational data—flows seamlessly through the system, is stored securely, and is readily accessible for analysis and reporting. This position requires a skilled engineer with a passion for working with data, solving complex problems, and building systems that support business needs. You will collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence team to ensure that our data infrastructure supports the growing needs of the organization. Location Remote (must be available 9 am – 5 pm Eastern Time) What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store data from multiple internal and external sources. Collaborate with the Marketing, Client Services, Accounting and Business Intelligence teams to ensure data availability and quality for reporting, analysis, and decision‑making. Implement data integrations with platforms like Leadspedia, Retool, Salesforce, Looker, and other internal tools. Ensure the data infrastructure is optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability. Automate data workflows and processes to reduce manual data handling and improve operational efficiency. Maintain and optimize the company’s data warehouse, ensuring that all data is stored securely and is easily accessible. Monitor and troubleshoot data‑related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations. Design and implement data quality controls, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across the company’s systems. Work with the tech team to ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support and guidance for internal teams on data‑related issues and queries. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical field. Strong experience with SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages used for data processing and transformation. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift. Proficiency in data integration tools and technologies (ETL processes, data pipelines, API integration). Experience working with large, complex datasets and optimizing data workflows for performance. Familiarity with data security practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
