Job Description:

As a SAP Basis Senior Analyst part of Business Delivery Services, you will focus on deploying and delivering enterprise-class application platforms to the Mars business.

You will work following the AMS services with which, after a new implementation, application support is provided for the customer's SAP landscape in accordance with the indicators. You will also be accountable for leading improvements, requests, and maintaining controls over the landscape via capacity and performance management best practices.

What are we looking for?

  • 5 years as SAP Basis in large/complex and mission-critical environments

  • Administering Oracle, SAP HANA, and MS SQL Server databases for SAP systems

  • Experience in large SAP implementation/migration/upgrade projects

  • Experience running mission-critical applications in different operating systems

  • Experience in performance tuning

  • Experience with clustering solutions for SAP

  • Language: Fluent in English

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Work in project activities such as designing and implementing new systems, upgrading current ones, and setting up our environments to meet new demands

  • Interact with customers to understand their requirements and identify the proper configuration/solution to meet their needs

  • Run Proof of Concepts to evaluate new technologies and capabilities that can be adopted, bringing value to Mars, documenting the outcomes and creating standards for future implementation

  • Collaborate with the architecture and security community to design solutions in accordance with the Mars Standards and Applications SLAs

  • Perform Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning analysis on our critical systems

  • Define infrastructure requirements and interact with other infrastructure teams to properly set up/configure new components

  • Contribute with Operations team to evaluate pain points for running systems and look for opportunities that can eliminate or minimize them

  • Work on automation initiatives to reduce manual effort in deployment and operations

  • Agree with the operations team on CIPs implementation plan
