The Project Manager - Team Leader LATAM/America is responsible for taking ownership of large scale and complex projects, for supporting the budget planning process and leading a small team of Project Managers in Brazil.
This position Reports to Director - Global Systems, F&B and is part of the F&B Global Systems Team located in Pall Brazil office in Diadema-São Paulo and will be on-site role (5 days a week).
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Lead, manage and develop a team of 2 to 3 associates
- Execute and coordinate all scheduling activities included in the projects of the BU and for development of execution excellence cross functional within BU
- Acting as project manager/ project sponsor for complex, large scale projects that can be executed across the globe
- Taking ownership for key commercial / execution KPIs. Consult the Sales and Execution organization on critical contract execution issues. Mitigate Risk and resolve critical discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Be accountable for complete project sign off and internal and external reporting and coordinate all qualification activities included in the project (pre-FAT, SAT)
- Manage warranty claims
- Ensure compliance with legal, collective bargaining and company regulations
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- Fluent English communication skills (mandatory).
- Strong experience managing teams for large scale and complex engineering solutions projects.
- Hability to effectively communicate on complex technical / engineering issues at all levels in Pall's internal team as well as with the customer.
- BSc/MSc in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience of project management of systems manufacturing in fields highly regulated sanitary processes (Food and Beverages, Pharmaceuticals or similar).
- Experience with using MS Office tools, SAP PS, CAD Viewers and Adobe Acrobat.
**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**
- Ability to travel to project locations anywhere in the world (typically 50% of time)
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Experience in managing the Project Management & commissioning business in global business setup.
