- BrazilA teacher of Key Stage 3 History and Geography for August 1 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Ideally a person dedicated to Key Stage 3, (American Middle School) Social Studies or Humanities.
- have a minimum of two years continuous teaching experience in the classroom either
- be well-versed in current educational practice and developments
- be enthusiastic about promoting the value of social studies and humanities
- be able to work with pupils of differing abilities
- be committed to contributing to a team ethos and maintaining strong professional relationships
- be committed to professional development through the staff performance appraisal programme
- possess excellent communication skills and a warm personality
- have excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
- appreciate the need for tact and diplomacy when dealing with parents and staff
- be keen to offer extra-curricular activities, run trips and prepared to participate in the broader life of the school.
