Payroll Senior Manager – Unilever Contrato por prazo determinado, inicialmente por um ano. Locação: São Paulo ou Valinhos. Horário: Tempo integral, modelo híbrido (duas ou três vezes presencial no escritório). Payroll business partner role is a strategic role responsible for aligning payroll operations with a company's overall business objectives. Unlike a traditional payroll manager who focuses purely on administration, a payroll business partner works closely with leadership to provide expert advice, optimize processes, and influence strategy using payroll data to add value to the business. The Sr. Manager will play a key role in shaping the global payroll strategy—strengthening controls, improving data integrity, and building scalable solutions through strong vendor partnerships and cross‑functional collaboration. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands‑on execution, ensuring that payroll delivery is accurate, compliant, and resilient across diverse regulatory environments. Responsibilities Manages complex, departmental and/or cross‑company work with partnering key stakeholders in implementing best‑in‑class processes and practices for payroll. Partner with stakeholders HR, Tech, Legal, Employee Relations, Accounting, Treasury, Risk Management, Taxes, Health department, Employee/Industrial Relations, Controllership, Payroll Tech and Product Teams. Lead communication & relationships with internal & external stakeholders, acting as Payroll business partnering to the business. Manage business continuity planning for payroll contingencies and staffing. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and the ability to perform under pressure. Ensure all payroll processes are documented, performed, and reviewed continually in line with SOX compliance, control requirements, internal and external policies, laws and best practices. High degree of expertise in leveraging strong analytical and problem‑solving skills techniques in audit and validation to deliver accurate and robust payroll support to employees, stakeholders, and partners. Develop, drive and support process standardization, remediation, and the optimization of payroll procedures by ensuring strong internal controls and risks associated with payroll activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Compile and maintain key operational payroll metrics & dashboards, ensure SLAs are effectively implemented and meet with Payroll Customer Services, plan and host operational review meetings to monitor payroll service levels. Responsible for developing, communicating and achieving team or department vision and goals. Broaden learnings and best practices to other markets. Manage outsourced payroll vendors that support our operations. Basic Qualifications Direct Leadership of Payroll team. Strong payroll experience with a focus on Brazil. Proven record in payroll operations, including regulatory compliance, statutory reporting, tax withholding, salary schemes, and social security requirements. Background managing complex payroll operations, projects, and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience driving performance and managing complex priorities. Skilled in developing business cases, justifying resources, and executing strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals. Proficient level in SAP HCM and SAP FIORI systems, Workday, ServiceNow, and CRM. Experience in vendor management, system integrations, and project implementations. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in remote and regionally/globally distributed work environments is a plus.
