JDE Developer Job Description We are seeking an experienced JDE developer to join our organization. As a JDE developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces programs utilizing the JD Edwards developer toolkit. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for JD Enterprise One (JDE), supporting processes, and implementing improvements. Your primary focus will be on the global systems implementation, initially on the LatAm and UK/EMEA regions. Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert developer for JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE) associated with functionality, content, processes, and procedures. Gather business requirements and implement a global standard design for the global systems implementation of JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces with other applications. Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient. Ensure JDE development deliverables are completed on time and bug-free. Based on detailed requirements, analyze business needs, create appropriate functional and technical designs, develop the programs, and perform testing to ensure quality of the deliverables. Ensure JDE programs are compliant with IT policy. Build plans to enforce compliance with IT policy and standard user management processes. Requirements: Technical experience of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 or higher, including application configuration and development. Experience with JDE localization implementations, preferably for LatAm countries. Strong financial applications, analysis, and issue resolution skills. Experience working with fellow team members and third-party vendors to integrate with SaaS solutions. Working hands-on knowledge of software development life cycle and project management methodologies. Financial business acumen (working knowledge) and awareness of management and analysis processes. Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office Products, especially Excel. Excellent organization skills, and verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations. Experience working with off-shore or remote development/support teams. Advanced in Spanish/Advanced English. Please note that some desired qualifications include Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, technology project support experience, understanding of integration with Identity Management solutions, moderate level proficiency with Microsoft Visio or Lucid, and intermediate SQL query skills. We also look for work traits like demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to work at a fast pace and cope with conflicting deadlines, proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, good analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
