Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position of Finance Manager. Reporting to the Group CFO, this is a hands-on position that requires both the ability to work independently, as well as effectively interface with colleagues, including the leadership team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a proven track record in finance management, worked in fast-paced environment, is adaptable to change, and capable of helping to create and operate controlled scalable processes.


The Financial Manager will closely partner with the local Commercial leadership team and other functions as well as with Group Finance and Franchise Finance teams to handle all financial aspects Genesis Medtech operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, costing control, tax, reporting, and internal controls.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for accounting processing and closing work in accordance with local accounting standards and relevant legal requirements, including but not limited to AR, AP, GL, tax and reporting.
  • Fully responsible for monthly financial statements, including various declared financial reports in accordance with local legal requirements and internal management reports required by the group's finance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Participate in and implement continuous improvement of accounting procedures, systems, internal compliance, and business processes in accordance with group financial requirements.
  • Responsible for coordinating internal and external audit work.
  • Participate in the implementation and improvement of ERP systems based on business needs and group financial requirements,
  • Develop policy, procedure to control the tax compliance risk.
  • Timely and accurately declare various taxes according to local tax laws and relevant requirements.
  • Responsible for tax audits and inspection case, including internal and local government agencies.
  • Support Group Finance in tax planning.
  • Monitoring backend operation management (such as orders, payments, warehousing, shipping etc.).


Requirements:


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in significant financial management positions in trading companies or multinational corporations.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CRC) or Certified Tax Professional.
  • Familiar with the operation and management of trading companies (such as ERP, orders, payment, warehousing, shipping, etc.) and start-up companies is strongly preferred.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese is desirable but not required.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
