Employer Industry: Insurance Why consider this job opportunity: Competitive salary with potential for bonuses Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Supportive and collaborative work environment Chance to make a significant impact on regulatory compliance and operational efficiency Engaging role that combines data analysis with strategic planning Work with cutting-edge data governance initiatives What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Gather, organize, and maintain claims data to ensure accuracy and completeness Analyze claims data to identify trends, conduct root cause analysis for denials, delays, or errors Develop and generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings to management Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline claims processing and enhance efficiency Serve as the data steward for claims data, ensuring adherence to data governance policies What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Data or Business Analytics, Mathematics, or equivalent Minimum of three years of relevant work experience Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within the insurance industry Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) Knowledge of data governance principles, Master Data Management (MDM), and Reference Data Management (RDM) How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience specifically within homeowners' insurance Familiarity with BI/Visualization Tools such as Power BI or Tableau Experience with data governance and quality tools such as MS Purview or Informatica DQ Strong internal customer service skills We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
