**Process Specialist Qualifications for Paulínia**

**SUMMARY**
Provide Process Engineering support to the unit, through the identification and leadership of Continuous Improvement initiatives to impact the performance of existing processes and introduce new products, processes and/or operating systems.
Prepare/Review industrial equipment data sheets, monitor and define process variables acting directly on the main process equipment. Implement the Process Safety Management program, leading the Industrial Risk Analysis initiatives through methodologies and good engineering practices, as well as leading Process Technology initiatives.
**RESPONSABILITIES**
- Interact and influence the behavior of site personnel at all levels, working directly with all hierarchical levels of the company, with the objective of changing behavior in relation to Processes and Safety.
- Act as a link between quality, project engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and high leadership, providing information and analysis necessary for continuous improvement in order to reduce costs, increase efficiency and direct quality actions.
- Develop and lead projects related to process improvements and introduction of new technologies/products, working with peers in the economic feasibility analysis, and with the Process Technology group, with the objective of implementing and/or internalizing the best industrial practices
- Implement process improvements to improve productivity, reliability, safety and quality of production processes.
- Develop design and specification of industrial equipment, through process studies, analysis of indicators and variables, aiming at the correct allocation of productive resources.
- Provide support in non-routine activities, shutdowns of units and unfavorable process conditions, through support to operational areas, in order to increase process safety and operational reliability.
- Review and approve production orders, through the evaluation of inputs, process times, movements and quality tests, focusing on process improvement.
**EDUCATION**
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferably).
- 5 or more years in the oil and gas, refining or chemical process industries working in Operations or Process Engineering with experience in PSM - Process Safety Management.
- Understanding regulatory requirements, engineering standards and process safety management best practices. Able to provide guidance to Site personnel in an understandable and active manner.
