Integration Consultant

**Summary**
This role requires a willingness and ability to travel 25%.
Guidewire is seeking highly motivated functional implementation experts who are looking to work with current, leading-edge technology on challenging, customer focused consulting and implementation projects. Our software is incredibly complex and well-tested - over 2,000 person years invested in our products so far.
Our projects will expect some on-site presence, so there will be expectations to travel throughout South America freely without sponsorship. The anticipated travel target is 25% however, the need to travel is determined on a project basis and could exceed 25% if deemed necessary for project success.
**What You'll Do**
- You will be r esponsible for the integration of the implementation of Guidewire enterprise software following an Agile methodology.
- P articipate in the full integration lifecycles from initial requirements gathering and product definition to underwriting, quoting, binding, endorsements, and renewals.
- U se Guidewire's proprietary Gosu programming language and Java to perform scripting and programming for customized rules, plugin configurations, web pages, and configuration files; applied object oriented methodology to design, develop, and test new functionalities in collaboration with developers and the quality assurance team; and customize and create new web user interfaces to customize the Guidewire software products.
- P erform data modeling for data stagging tables using SQL over the SQL Server and Oracle relational databases.
- D esign and implement configuration and integration tests including monitoring software incidents and communicating software issues to Guidewire development professionals.

- Strong OO design, development and test skills with proven pa erns knowledge, excep ti onal documenta ti on skills, and the ability to communicate your thought process
- Consultant must understand the concepts of rela ti onal databases
- Be prepared to write and review code, providing recommenda ti ons to customers and partners
- Enterprise so ft ware product implementa ti on experience within complex, enterprise environments
- Leading and collabora ti ng across mul ti -func ti onal teams on complex large-scale projects in mul ti ple loca ti ons
- Experience in AGILE methodology

- Strong Portuguese, Spanish, and English oral and written skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
**Nice to have**
- Insurance industry experience, understanding how the insurance business process from a user perspec ti ve
- JAVA, J2EE, SQL, XML experience
- Guidewire InsuranceSuite experience
- Prior experience with Guidewire Gosu is preferen ti al.
- Familiar with Cloud/AWS services and code deployment processes
