We are looking for a highly skilled** Lead Java Developer with a strong background in GCP**to join our team.
In this role, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**
- Create and implement features aligned with business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and deliver tailored solutions
- Write and maintain unit tests to uphold software quality and ensure functionality
- Conduct code reviews to maintain best practices and coding standards
- Diagnose and address technical challenges effectively and in a timely manner
- Support team efforts to enhance workflows and optimize development processes
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of experience in software development
- A minimum of 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams
- Strong proficiency in Java, including Core, Collections, StreamAPI, and Concurrency
- Experience working with JDK17+ and build tools like Maven or Gradle
- Practical experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow, including implementing Beam transforms (DoFn, ParDo, GroupByKey) and deploying/monitoring Dataflow jobs
- Familiarity with GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security best practices
- Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and reviewing code for quality assurance
- Fluent Portuguese communication skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a B1 level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, including BigQuery, relational databases, or NoSQL stores
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Understanding of data formats such as AVRO or Parquet
- Experience working with XML and XSD
- Familiarity with Equifax GBP systems and related workflows
