Job Title: Enterprise Data Platform Architect As a seasoned professional in designing and implementing large-scale distributed data platforms, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our NexusOne data platform. Your technical expertise will serve as the foundation for creating scalable, secure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. In this position, you will be responsible for architecting the end-to-end NexusOne platform across various environments, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration points for data services, pipelines, orchestration, governance, and security layers. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver a validated, production-ready platform architecture that meets client requirements. You will also be responsible for leading Architecture Review Boards and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and evolve the NexusOne platform architecture based on customer requirements and limitations. Define integration points for data services, pipelines, orchestration, governance, and security layers. Translate solution requests and business requirements into scalable, compliant architecture blueprints. Lead and participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) to align deployments with enterprise standards. Requirements: 8–12 years of experience designing or implementing large-scale distributed data platforms in regulated industries. Proven track record as a technical architect or lead engineer at Cloudera, Databricks, AWS EMR, or similar open-source platform providers. Hands-on experience integrating and operating open-source data tools across hybrid-cloud and containerized environments. Strong understanding of enterprise governance and security frameworks (SOX, FFIEC, GDPR). Success Metrics: Delivery of a validated, production-ready platform architecture that meets client requirements. Positive approval outcomes from Architecture Review Boards and internal security/governance reviews.
