The Senior Logistics and Foreign Trade Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods across borders, directly impacting operational efficiency and cost management. How You Will Make An Impact

• Coordinate all aspects of import, export, and local logistics shipments, ensuring timely execution and precise shipment tracking, while managing all logistics operations both locally and internationally.
• Monitor and coordinate carrier capacity across various freight categories to support efficient and timely transportation.
• Drive supplier relationships and lead negotiations to optimize both local and international logistics operations.
• Leverage transportation expertise to develop and execute strategies that enhance logistics flow.
• Manage plant requirements and oversee the end-to-end transport of materials for local and international shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Deliver operational improvements using data-driven approaches to root cause analysis and solution design.
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and tariffs to minimize risks and avoid delays.
• Implement continuous improvement practices for data management and analytics to enhance the accuracy and utility of logistics and supplier information, and monitor operations to uncover potential cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Create and maintain SOPs and supporting documents for internal processes.
• Provide support for reporting and analytics by leveraging data to track performance metrics, address disruptions, and resolve issues related to KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external norms, procedures, and guidelines.

Background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Administration, Foreign Trade, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in Transport, Logistics, and Customs Operations.
• Knowledge of S4Hana, SAP/TM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and special regimes (e.g., Recof).
• Experience with logistics software, ERP systems, and PowerBI, with strong data management and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to understand processes, identify improvements, and drive change in operational environments.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with external partners to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
